VIDVIEW / ACCEPTABLE USE
Acceptable Use
Effective
Only submit media you are permitted to access and download. Availability is not permission.
Respect rights and access conditions
- Do not infringe copyright, privacy, publicity or other legal rights.
- Do not bypass DRM, paywalls, authentication, geographic restrictions or other access controls.
- Do not request unauthorized private, paid, members-only or otherwise restricted material.
- Do not assume personal use, attribution or a public link automatically makes a download permitted.
Keep the service usable
- Do not send abusive automated traffic, evade request limits or repeatedly resubmit a rejected job to overwhelm the service.
- Do not probe for credentials, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with other jobs or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not use the service to distribute malware, facilitate harassment, commit fraud or carry out other unlawful activity.
What happens when something is wrong
Requests may be refused or cancelled and access may be limited when needed to protect the service or respond to misuse. There is no promise that every misuse will be detected. Report a concern to support@vidview.net; rights holders can use the request checklist.
A practical check before downloading
Ask whether you have the rights you need, whether the source permits this method of access, and whether your intended use is allowed. If any answer is uncertain, use the source’s official options or obtain advice and permission first. Read the Terms of Use for service conditions.
