Copyright & Rights Holder Requests

Effective

VIDVIEW does not give users ownership of third-party media. A supported link is not an authorization to copy or redistribute it.

Send a rights-holder request

Rights holders can send requests to support@vidview.net. Visiting this page does not submit a report; send an email with the information below. See Contact & Support for additional guidance.

Prepare a useful request

Include:

  1. Your name, a reply address, and whether you own the rights or act for the rights holder.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work and information identifying the rights concerned.
  3. The relevant source URL and the exact VIDVIEW page or temporary link, if available. Include the approximate date, time and timezone of the issue.
  4. An explanation of the concern and the action you are requesting.
  5. A good-faith statement that you believe the reported use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or applicable law, and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Do not send passwords, source-platform cookies or unnecessary identity documents. Temporary links may expire before review, so a clear description is important. Avoid attaching copies of sensitive or unlawful material.

Review and possible action

The intended process is to acknowledge the report, assess the information, request clarification if needed, and consider proportionate action within VIDVIEW’s control. That may include stopping accessible processing, removing a temporary artifact or restricting misuse where appropriate. This is a manual review process, not an automated content-blocking system or a guaranteed response deadline.

VIDVIEW cannot remove a source upload from another platform. Contact that platform separately for action on the original publication. Information in a report may need to be retained and shared where necessary to investigate, respond or meet applicable legal obligations.

Scope of this process

This is a general rights-holder request process. It is not a claim that VIDVIEW has a registered statutory notice agent, qualifies for a liability safe harbor, or operates a formal DMCA notice-and-counter-notice system. The operator must review the applicable legal procedure before public launch.
